Hello all. I am in the market to purchase my first Rolex. For quite some time I have been on the hunt for a 2000’s era 16610 Submariner with the SEL bracelet. I am still torn between the classic holes case or the more modern no-holes case, but ultimately, condition is paramount for me. Since this is such a mass produced watch, often purchased by non-enthusiasts, I was not surprised to find that so many examples are polished beyond recognition or are in severe shape. I have been struggling to find a piece that meets my desired specifications from a reliable seller, without a grossly inflated price tag.
I decided to join here to hopefully gain some insight that will me aid in the search for my ideal 16610. Any input you may have on where to look and what to look for would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. |
