Worn pretty much nonstop since Friday. I think this honeymoon might last a while!

Also, I purchased a brown leather strap that should be arriving tomorrow. I’ll post an updated wrist shot with the new strap.

I really dig this watch on the new strap. It changes the entire aesthetic of the piece into something significantly more versatile and handsome.

Also, please excuse the dog hair on the rug.

easily done lol - you concentrate so much on not scratching the lugs you sort of forget which way to fit the strap - looks good and very different to the black one supplied

Nice . It’s like the red alpinist with the cyclops.

Just checked my warranty card and realized it’s blank. Never bought a seiko before and I’m not sure how meaningful a blank card is, if at all. It’s a 725 dollar watch at the end of the day, so not that big of a deal, just not what i expected. Any thoughts? Potentially a problem?

shouldn't be if you bought from an AD and can prove date of purchase

my dealer did date an stamp my card though

Got it from Hodinkee and I’ve saved the receipt with the papers. I think they’re an AD - at least i think they are for grand Seiko.

I would check your Hodinkee account on their site. All the paperwork should be backed up there including your warranty card, at least that’s the way it was when I bought my Oris from them. If it’s not, just reach out to them, they’ve always been super responsive to me.

They’re definitely a Seiko AD as well and you should have an extra year of warranty on top of whatever Seiko’s standard warranty is.
