The crown at 12 in the rehaut should it not align on a genuine watch ? This seems a bit off?

Two DJ 41s and a ceramic sub here.

All three have 12 o'clock rehaut crowns that are slightly off to the right.

That is not an indicator of a genuine watch as they seem to be off half the time.

Ahh okey that’s interesting, read somewhere that it might indicate it’s not real but I only have few vintage Rolex that don’t have it so not really looked into it :)

He had the watch for four years and never noticed anything wrong with it. The first thing I noticed is that the insert was really worn off, I never had a watch getting to this point so I thought it could be normal but then I realized the GMT-Master II letters were green I know... I was so excited to get it that night that I didn’t even look at it twice lol

So I’m pretty sure the bezel it’s fake but I’m not sure if the whole watch is fake or not.

Here’s some pictures for opinions:

And some from the day he got the watch few years ago:

Thanks guys!

I am just seeing this thread. Any updates on the watch itself? It’s very possible that a standard LN has been fitted with aftermarket (bad quality) bezel.

How did you just buy it off your friend’s wrist while playing poker BUT also treated yourself to a little “bday gift”. Seems a little coincidental or maybe not.... the $100 bills look real though

Damn, please read it right. The picture of the birthday gift is from his friend 4 years back.

Back ontopic, i am in doubt with the date font. It looks fake to me also.

does the gmt hand function properly (and buttery) and is the hands even stacked properly like the gen? that would give you some insight on whether it being gen or not.

but from the looks of it without the obvious bezel and dial which looks incredibly fake.
the end links doesn't look even and the clasp looks a bit odd.

I'm so jealous. I can only dream of such a collection. I would be happy just to have either a two tone submariner or Daytona. Wow, Richard Mille, Pateks and Rolex galore. I wish I could afford to get a 18238 or two tone Daytona. My oysterquartz and my Omega Contellation will just have to do for now. I love my oysterquartz, rare and unique. And a great stealth Rolex. Awesome collection

Judging by the collection (and extrapolating to assume he is a successful chap) I'm thinking the guy has potentially more important things to do than update the internet on a watch he had probably thrown in the drawer and forgotten about :)

That said, I'm curious too. What a great story.

Or maybe the friend who has the BLNR bought a fake one just for the packer game!

so many issues , will stick mainly with the bezel

The font size / style of the numbers on the bezel are too thin. And of course that watch is fake. totally. Or , to be positive in this new year its POSITIVELY COUNTERFEIT? LOL
