Leaked new Seikos

SLA025 variant...a new turtle, a new 62mas version?

Interesting.

Looks like the SBDC101 is based on the 42mm case. It's not a bad look but odd to see it so close to the SLA017. I'm guessing MSRP will be circa $800 US.

I really don’t understand why we needed a gilt free sla025 a whopping 2 years after the 6159 reissue. Just doesn’t make sense to me. Curious what the sla025 owners feel about this.
The 6rmas is cool. If it’s sub 1k should sell like hot cakes. Though we don’t really know dimensions yet.
Love the new presages that are based off the crown chrono.

As a 025 owner, contemplating selling mine now, whats a 55th anniversary? Are they going to do an anniversary model every 5 years?

The SBDC101 looks like a dead ringer for the SBDC051/053/055 with a different dial. If the movement is the same 6R15 then I'd expect MSRP to be 100,000 JPY. I guess this fills the gap for anyone who thought the SLA017 was too small or too expensive, or wanted an 051/053/055 with stick hands.

I'm still a little confused.

And, I'm with icnbne above, the 55th anniversary is a bizarre milestone. We're now in Omega Speedy Pro anniversary territory with these.

That SLA025 clone is going to be big $$$ as its a limited edition
Anyway interesting, its what I thought there was no more classic models to re-create so Seiko has tweaked the classics it re-created in the last couple of years (SLA017 & SLA025).

I think you will find that the case will be 40mm with the 6R35 movement.

It will be a massive hit.

Proportionally it looks like an SBDC05x. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

I like those and always thought there should be a non Gilt version but those presage divers steal the show for me. It's got that perfect Oris 65 diver vibe

It looks like......a watch.

Is it just me or does Seiko seem to have a lot of different ones?

More model number than a Panerai I think.

Ok, I admit to not being familiar with all the refs and LEs related to this design, but I like this one a lot! Any word on how limited it should be?

Well there are like 15 different companies all listed under Seiko. One of their lines would be like a whole swiss watch company

I didn’t realize Galante was supposed to be up there. They’re... challenging.

I also didnt know astron sat alongside marinemasters and landmasters

Feel like they have some refining to do to make the distinction clear in their model range

Agreed. I believe the SLA017 is still the only one on the higher end. They need more.
