RG 26320 Questions
These have really piqued my interest as of late (26320 PG). Ultimately I want to purchase a RG on bracelet - does it make sense to purchase it on a strap and buy the bracelet later (do they even come up for sale)? Or the other way around - buy the deployment and strap after? What do the deployment clasps / bracelets usually run?
Finally - what is a good price to pay a 26320 on a strap or bracelet in the second hand market? I see them under $40k on a bracelet and $25Kish on a strap- what do private sales usually trade around? Sorry for all the questions! My ROO Panda is getting a little large and see no wrist time anymore- so looking to swap! |

if you want a bracelet always buy one with a bracelet and then add a strap separately. Its always more to buy a bracelet after the fact. I have never priced gold bracelets from AP, but i would assume its true for them as well.

The AP boutique had the bracelet priced at $18k - Im sure they could be ordered with some discount from ADs..

It's a beautiful watch for sure.
Also, SIHH 2018 is only 3 months away. At some point AP is going to announce a chrono with an in-house movement...could be in 2018 or 5 years from now. |

i would check first. I wouldn't think parts ordered in specifically for a customer are sold to AD's with the same margins that watches in inventory are. Its not like the AD has those in stock and are trying to move product.

That looks low, I was quoted £16K when the retail was £25K, altho maybe the AD Wempe added on a nice premium as usual. I would buy the bracelet model too if possible, I had the strap version and loved the watch as it was my first ever PM watch but now I'd only get it on the magnificent bracelet. Same for the VCO and Nautilus models.
