The newer bezel can be fitted for around £1700.

with the 5524g in the equation there is no way i would have both versions of the AP RG 44mm.

New black dial RG 44 and a 5524g is far better than both dial versions of the RG 44. Im waiting on a 5524g myself.

New bezel makes a big difference as it also matches the finely brushed case. It was one of the things that stopped me buying the 44 a few years ago. I would get this new version white subdial or even newer black subdial RG 44 and the 5524 as well.

Agreed. Those brushed lines are absolutely must. Wonder if OP can swap the bezel with AP.

Interesting - I didn't know the difference between matte and brushed from before and that there were two variations.

I must say that the brushed is really stunning (from my departed 44) - it breathes life into the ceramic like no other ceramic watch I've seen. However, I think the matte finish is quite nice too, it's on my JT and I really like how fine and detailed the brushed lines on it are.

The size looks fine but I would just hold off and see if she grows on You. The all gold 42mm ROO will be a scratch magnet so that would be an easy pass. IMO ROOs in 42mm and 44mm variations all need ceramic bezels. WAIT FOR SIHH 2018

Hoping for an all-ceramic 42 at SIHH 2018. Will open my wallet immediately for that one.

My preference is a chronograph and something without orange (or any neon-like colour). That said, I was about to buy a CE Diver, but had to reject it for a minor flaw in the bezel. Still on the hunt for one!

I am going to list this one on here and then buy the new one I am thinking.

The 44 has grown on me the last couple days so it is a must have and the 5524g is inbound late this week early next.

What would be a good list price for the one I have now?

Thanks to all for your input as well. Gotta love RF and the enablers!

Have you tried this one on? The pictures don't do this watch an justice. It is gorgeous!

I do think the 44 looks a tab bulky on you. The 42MM might do the trick..

No I would get the 5524, but size looks perfect from what I can see, no where near huge as a few recent photos taken by a member, if hour wrist is 6,5 or more and you don't have ultra thin forearms it's fine, hesitated getting one, TI but I love my ce diver and in my small 5 piece collection 2 ROO seems too much.
Keep it for some time, at least 1 month and then decide, too soon to decide

I am going to drop this one, post it for sale and move forward with picking up the new version. The new bezel and the enabling is too much to resist... Something spoke to me for a second about having both but I already sent funds for the 5524 so at this point this is my best option I am thinking. No reason to have two of them I suppose when a handful of us are impatiently awaiting the arrival of a 42mm ceramic. If it comes..

I appreciate everyone's feedback as well as the enabling!

Mine is the earliest model with the matte ceramic bezel, loved it!

good plan

Looking forward to the 5524g incoming as well. It will tide me over while I'm waiting for mine.
