Is this a correct watch?
Dear Mr/Mrs experts out there....
What do you think about this watch. Does it look correct? Any thoughts? BR Peter |

Second hand looks too short in this pic anyway. Looks original, the dial is a bit degraded imho, it all depends on the price.

I have been browsing quite a few pictures of the Turn-o-graph and most of them actually have a slightly longer seconds hand. Those with dauphine hands have a shorter seconds hand. I have also seen a couple of the ones with baton (?) hands (same as above) with the same length of the second hand. Could it be that they had a shorter second hand in the beginning? (Like Omega, using up old parts) Is it possible to date the watch with its serial number 539226. Caliber is 1560 and movements number is D44960. Any help appreciated.

Looks like an older TOG watch series 1625. Nice vintage watch. Just get it serviced at a RSC and you have a timeless piece of history. You should be able to pop off the lug band and see reference number on the watch case in between the lugs.
