Current collection for my 16,000th post

Thank you to all you enablers out there for helping feed my addiction. I love it here and the friends I’ve made hold a special place in my heart. This hobby has gone insane so I fit in it perfectly. I have about 4 more watches on my list for now. Of course if something new comes out and strikes my fancy I’ll have to add them too. I’m sure I’ve mentioned this in the past, this forum has done a lot for me. It has helped me deal with some obstacles in my life. It has introduced me to like minded people who have become close friends. Thanks for being there. I look forward to my next 16,000 posts and beyond.

Congratulations - we are not worthy!!!!!
Out of interest, are the 4 you're looking at Rolexes? or are you considering ALS, FPJ, PP, AP etc?

Thank you. Just Rolex for now. I'm starting to warm up to PP and AP but I don't get the same emotional response about them as I do Rolex. Maybe I need to grow up a little to appreciate them more.

There’s just enough room there for an Omega and Panerai.

How about these two:

I have the Sapphire Sandwich and will probably pick up James Bond Seamaster at some point. I'm having a tough time wrapping my head around Panerai. I try to associate my watches with some sort of life event or to represent something that had an influence on me. Whenever I think of Panerai, I think of Sylvester Stallone. He's not checking the boxes for me to add one. I'm trying to make an association to justify the watch, I just haven't found one yet. Possibly an addition to my blue sunburst dial collection. I'm really liking the blue dials lately.

Awesome collection! I’m curious if you’ve sold any pieces, and if so—what are some that you regret letting go of?

I have sold a few. I had a ton of 1675s that I was picking them up for about $3k and would flip them making or losing a few dollars here or there. I'd love to have a few of them now. I did flip a YG GMT with a nipple dial and president bracelet. I stupidly had it serviced and had a service dial put in. If I kept it all original and didn't flip it, I hadn't learned enough about watches at that point. You live and you learn.

The blue dial on the 1033 GMT is what sold me. Really nice dial, complimented by blue alligator strap. Very tasteful.

Very nice :) the YG YMII is probably my favourite of yours. I’ve tried it on many times but never bought it it feels great on the internet and wrist. Do you wear it much?
