Like I said, JJ sent at least one picture every hour of his blue TT YM to Watch Talk Forums. Constant new threads, his Yachtie photographed from every possible angle and with every possible setup.
One pic was of that Yachtie clasp opened, JJ's hairy, dark bare arm raised so that his bicep was showing. He gave the thread title "Rolex and brawn". Clifton (Rolex forum moderator) replied: "Nice watch, ugly arm." You know those things that don't sound funny but I laugh even now when I think about it.

When people ask how tight they should have the bracelet JJ always says: So tight that you can get room for your index finger.

I joined TRF afterwards, so I never got to read his posts. He sounds like a great character. His quotes and face appears on many TRF members' signatures, which demonstrates the impact he had. RIP.

I didn’t know him as I am young and only joined TRF 3-4 years ago, but I have read a lot about him. Rip.

I never met him in person, but we would email each other. Every New Year he would send me (and I'm sure others) a 'New Year's' message.
I remember him from when many of us were on TURF. |

JJ was a class act and hilarious. I never met him but he helped me out with some questions waaaay back when I was briefly on New Turfers. At least thats what I think it was called. Long before I found this site.
