A day late.....but it's finally here!

Fedex was nice enough to "missort" my package yesterday, so after rasing much hell they were nice enough to deliver it today!

And of course some obligatory wrist shots...

More to Come!

It's a beauty for sure.

My friend Roger (beamon) who teamed with me on the EXPII purchase received that model for his 50th wedding anniversary last year. I thought it nice of Omega to put his wedding year on the dial.

I'm glad FedEx was able to "sort it out" for you. My AD has just switched to FedEx from UPS for some reason. I hope you let him know about the problem.

Sweet.

I don't see why those don't take over the classic Speedy spot..

That's a beautiful Speedy!
At least they sent it Fed Ex instead of UPS (pronounced "OOPS").

Thanks everybody, very happy with it so far, it might end up getting more wrist time as the Rolleys!

They just don't have the NASA history behind them, Larry, and I quite understand that. Also, they have the 33XX series (3313) in this case) movement which has a history of problems that we hope have been remedied in more recent production. Omega has attached a 3 year warranty to them as opposed to the usual 2 year that is characteristic of most of their line.

Here's my anniversary present, on the occasion of our 50th, that Fr. John mentions as Omega being so nice in putting our wedding year on the dial! Oh, that's right, it also commemorates Omega's 50th anniversary of the introduction of the Speedmaster.

Nice catch!

I had one very briefly without the 57 on the dial (inspired by Beamon) but it just didn't work out for me, hope you have better luck it's one of the best looking light dials around, the blue hands are so subtle but so very effective
