Help W/ Price on Speedmaster?!

Hello all, I am new on this forum, but have been considering buying a speedmaster, the best price I have gotten so far was $2500 usd. this price includes all taxes ect.. I was given this price @ ultrajewels in cancun/Mexico.

I would like to know if this is a good price so I can go back and buy the watch before I leave Mexico.

Thanks!

It depends on the model.
Without knowing the model it would be impossible to tell you if you are getting a good price or not.

If we assume that you mean the standard version of the Speedmaster Professional then the price is quite keen if supplied by an AD.

Amazon used to sell it directly for less, but they must not have any stock on hand. I only see prices that are the same as what you're finding, and through the Amazon Marketplace affiliates.

At least if you buy through Amazon Marketplace, the affiliate is more likely to treat you properly if there are any problems.

Does that include IVA (Mexican VAT)? VAT is 15% in Mexico.

Still not enough information.... If it is the Speedmaster Date, with a V7750 movement, then the price is way too high. If it is the Speedmaster Broad Arrow, then the price is way too low.

Do you have a model number? There are quite a few models and Speedmasters have a tach, and the Pro is the only one that does not have a date.
