My little girl might be on to something
I was drinking my morning coffee and just casually browsing TRF when my two and a half year old came running to me, watch in hand asking to sit on my lap. So I put the said watch on her hand and she went, “daddy...this is my watch right”?

That’s awesome! My daughter definitely has her eye on my SD43!

My first Rolex was a datejust with a jubilee bracelet. Later when I went all in with the day date presidential in white gold, I put the datejust away with the thought in mind that I would save it for years and when my then 6 month old son graduated from college I would give it to him then. I am at this moment on a plane flying home from his graduation and two nights ago at the big graduation dinner I gave it to him and explained the story of how I saved it all these years, waiting for this very moment. It was a very special terrific moment and I’m not sure who was more proud and happy, him or me.
