3940p dial question

I have a 3940p that my father got from Sotherby's auction.

When I look at other people's 3940 pictures, I notice difference.

The right circle that shows leap year and months, positions of numbers

are different and there is no cross line.

What kind of dial is mine?

The watch was made from the mid 80’s until 2006(?). The dial changed over the years.

First Series - mostly silver but many have champagne subdials and/or darker tone for the night portion of the subdials.

Second Series - subdials have more pronounced depressions so all the hands can pass over and still be readable

Third Series - Leap year subdial divided into four quadrants by crossing thin black lines

Very nice watch regardless of which series. Congratulations.

That's a beautiful watch. Love the first series dials. Definitely an uncommon combination with this metal...
