Royal Oak Serial # on Caseback
I recently purchased a K serial grey dial 15400 from DavidSW and have noticed something different compared to other royal oaks it seems. There is only 1 line of text on the bottom of the case back instead of 2. For example mine says K XXXXX where as others I have owned had 2 lines on the bottom of the case back with "N XXXX" on top of the serial number. I did some research and it appears all grey dial 15400 only have 1 line of text on the caseback but it appears new blue dial 15400 still have 2, although I'm not sure if the ones I have seen are K serial numbers or not.
Is this something unique to the grey dial variant or is it something AP is doing from K serial number onward? Thanks everyone! |
