Moonwatch Bracelet.
Hello,
Like many of you, the Speedy moonwatch is one of my all time favourite watches. However, I've felt there's something wrong about the bracelet and now I think I figured it out, it's the balance! The watch feels too heavy for the bracelet to be balanced and I sometimes dropped the watch while handling it due to the imbalance. On the other hand, my Rolex Explorer 1 MK2 seems much more balanced and the bracelet feels like an equal part of the whole watch. I'm pretty sure there's lots of talk about this issue but I just wanted to share my experience. What are your thoughts? Moe P.s: this is a new version hesalite with the massive presentation box. |

Moonwatch Bracelet.
I have no idea what you are talking about. I have three hesalite Speedmaster Professionals and have never dropped any of them, and I would hardly call the watch heavy or imbalanced compared most others I own.

The sold end link bracelet is too massive for the classic speedmaster, if anything.

I love the way the Speedy feels on my wrist with the bracelet, but everyone has a different experience. Maybe you are just destined to wear your Speedmaster on a strap, you definitely won't be alone.

It's the lack of balance that I'm talking about or I'm just exceptionally clumsy lol!

If you have a tiny wrist (which it looks like based on your picture) that "lack of balance" is the feeling of wearing a watch that's too big.

I actually find the bracelet to be very comfortable, in fact I hardly know I'm wearing it. It's horses for courses though, and if you don't like it then swap out to a NATO or strap. There's no wrong way to wear a speedy and am sure someone would buy the bracelet from you if you didn't want to keep.

I like the Speedmaster and have owned several. I have always had an issue with getting the bracelet to fit right. Too large or too small. I believe that some of the collectors are using Omega's version of the glidelock clasp on the Speedy's now. It requires some modification but Omega will sell it to you and I believe the price is below $300. Might solve your issue.
