16600 vs 126600
I also have a hulk, a 5-digit Pepsi, and some Sea-Dwellers, and if it were me, I’d ditch the Pepsi before any of these guys.
Partially, it’s because I am fond of the style of the Sea-Dwellers in various iterations, partially because I’ve not yet let anything with glidelock go (which my green sub, SD43 and SD4k have), but mostly because I find all of the SDs so comfortable on my wrist. |

Your 16600 wears like my 16660 and to me that is the bomb! (Former EOD, sorry)

16600. Simply a more tidy watch in my view.

I'd keep the 16600. It's the classic design of the SEA DWELLER. The 126600 is a Rolex invention that doesn't convince me.

Recently i tried the 126600 looks to big and heavy on wrist. I ended up buying a NOS 16600 with less than 2000 dollars. It looks classic, has the elegant lugs and same technical aspects. It feels more like a tool watch where as the 126600 looks blingy. No cyclops is another plus on 16600.

If you don't own a classic Rolex, you should keep the 16600. It could be a one and done watch. If you like to own multiple and have a standard 4 or 5 digit already, buy or keep something different, if you like.

I love both. They are different enough. I enjoy the evolution from the two different generation. I would keep both.

OP that is a tough decision. On one hand imo the 16600 is the perfect Sea Dweller. But on the other, the 126600 gives you a 5 digit, 6 digit 3135, and 6 digit 3235. If I wasn't such a huge fan of the 5 digit Pepsi, I'd say you could move the to have a perfect dive trio. |

The 16600 is a work of art———-the SD43 is a masterpiece.

I would keep the SD43 of these two.
If it were SD4K vs SD43 then I would let go the SD43 instead. |

if you could afford the sd43, I don't see how releasing the 5 digit would make a difference to your finances.

I had both on my wrist (owning a 16600 and trying the 126600 at a AD).
I kept the 16600 but exchanged the clasp with a DSSD Glidelock clasp. Although the 16600 tends to be a little bit to small for my wrist according to today‘s fashion I like the cleaner subtle look. The 3135 movement is pretty good and can be serviced in the long run even without the AD (RSC). However, I can totally understand if someone choses the 126600. If you can accept the cyclops (I couldn‘t and my eyes are still good) you get the matte dial instead which is more of a tool watch. |

Because you have a 5 digit GMT and a 6 digit Sub, i would keep the SD43.
