Can not authenticate or claim from those photos
BUT
Looks good and trusted TRF seller all positive - did he not post more/better photos.
I checked serial number 8780D4P1 and that does not list as FAKE

Agree watch is all good, but the days of fakes all sharing the same serial number are long gone. The fakes now use sequential and random serials.

Not quite. They do use random serial numbers, but they are not sequential - indeed not even Rolex use sequential numbering since 2010.

The fake have a number of random serial numbers, but in time most get recorded. not every fake has a completely different number. In fact we see the same number over a range of models (usually if same case size)

I’m well aware of Rolex’s serial number system, I buy and sell watches for a living and have done for the last 15 years.

That may be true for the cheap market style fakes. The ‘higher quality’ fakes certainly use sequential serials prior to a G serial and random serials on the later cases. Recording them would be impossible, the big counterfeit factory’s are pumping out tens of thousands of these things year.

Well we can agree to disagree, but in my experience even the top counterfeit manufacturers do not do random serial numbers for EVERY watch!

If they did, why do we find same serial number multiple times and more importantly the same serial number spread over different models?

THERE is a company called CSA (Watch Certification Services of America).
You have to pay for it which my company does - its not bullet proof, but seems to catch a lot!
