TRF sellers who trade

Hello, I've looked, but possibly not hard enough. Which of the TRF sellers take trades? I am looking to upgrade! I know I get more selling myself, but can take a slight hit yo deal with one person for it all.

Most of the trusted sellers here will take trades. Always ask first though, don’t assume.

I traded two watches and picked up a new watch with DavidSW. He is a trusted seller here on TRF and I had a great experience.

Most if not all of the trusted sellers here take trades, just depends on the watch.....you have to be trading something desirable for them to sell. Pretty much all rolexes will be accepted.

Some people trade because they want something different and if you find a like minded person you could both come away happy. Most people on TRF are professional or semi-professional sellers. They will take your trade but you'll get pennies on the dollar. You can start with postings that say FSOT and always send messages to various sellers and see if find something that works out for you

Those who welcome trades will state that in their listing. For example, trades of modern Rolex full sets are welcome.

But be sure you understand that their business model demands a profit margin on the incoming trade AND a profit margin on the outgoing model you want.

As a result, expect a trade value about 40% below what you’d get in a private sale. Remember they are assuming all the risk of a costly overhaul, and market swings.
