Water damaged papers

I’m interested in a 15710 AP Diver in good condition for $15300 which seems like a fair price but it has water damaged papers.
How will that affect re-sale value? The seller won’t reduce the price due to the water damage but I’m hesitant to buy.

Please help me decide. Buy or not?

Buy the watch not the papers. If it’s the right watch and the right price the papers having some water damage won’t be a problem.

Didn’t the seller realise that it’s only the watch that’s water resistant? There are plenty of Divers available with perfect paperwork. I’d get a perfect one or even buy new.

As per above - it’s a fairly available watch so find one your fully happy with.

Actually, I had a similar issue and it was the exact same Stamp and also water spilt,
Rabat!
I was also informed that this is a way of forging papers..
I dug deep in the issue and found out that the watch is genuine but the papers are not. I have no idea if thats the case here but I just had to share my experience after seeing that it was the same stamp.
Good Luck bro!

Ask for some movement pics if you aren’t sure on it. Usually an easy giveaway.
