5520p

Anyone here owns or getting a 5520P?

I really like the watch despite yet to see it in real life. My AD said it was impossible to get a 5520P this year or next year

I had the chance to get one from my AD last week but I think it is a pass for me. Amazing watch though!

Took delivery of this priceless reference last year!

Here’s a pic for you to look forward to when you take delivery...

Love the dial and dual time zone function and of course who can not resist to use the ALARM!! Been wearing it since in quarantine and waking up to that lovely sound everyday!
It is a relatively large Patek but when on the wrist still very comfortable and doesn’t appear large on the wrist at all.

The 5520p was a bit strange to me at first (just the 4 crown part) but when i researched into the movement, the amount of parts and how unique something like this is i then immediately wanted one. It is essentially a minute repeater which has a better overall use/function as an alarm and when travelling it also serves to show that second timezone in a very legible way. Automatic movement and dont forget this is water resistant!

Yes this may not be your traditional minute repeater, but all of them are only dust and humidity resistant. A all new designed movement that is only used in this reference is also key to remember and i believe this is the only modern patek to have different engravings on the crowns for the alarm and travel time to distinguish themselves. A true under appreciated sleeper in the collection

I don't own any application pieces. My AD said it was not an application piece but a piece produced in limited numbers.

i had the 5524g and was unhappy with it, it was too large for my small wrist. also i dislike the pushers on both sides of the 5520.
