When will the PAM base models stop producing?

Hi guys,

New around here after roaming for quite some time.

The ETA movements, PAM 112, 000, 005 etc - I've heard will stop produce soon.

Since most of them are getting replaced by Panerai's inhouse movements, and I've also heard it before that its getting harder and harder to find the base models from AD's.

So my questions are;

1. When do you think these models will stop producing?

2. Do you think it's a good idea to hold on to them for a couple of years? Since if they stop producing they will obviously be hard to come across -> second hand price rise.

Cheers!

All base 3 digit models already been discontinued and replaced by 4 digit models with in house movement.
If you still have a chance to find any of ETA base models grab it and don't look back.

It seems ETA /Swatch have decided that they will now continue supplying movements to watch manufactures outside the swatch group... now that those manufacturers have gone through the expense of producing their own movements.

Interesting. Swatch revenue and EBID went down so they are counting for extra income.

But have they stopped producing them yet? I do know they're "replaced" with 4 digit models and inhouse movements - not sure if the base one are still in production though...
