WTS: Jaeger-LeCoultre Ultra Thin Cal 818/2 "Onyx"
Price: USD 4,000.00
Description This is the Jaeger Le-Coultre Ultra Thin Cal 818/2. It’s hard to doubt the quality of JLC’s watchmaking, given that they’re widely known as the watchmaker’s watchmaker. Having been around since 1833, JLC has had a history of supplying movements, parts and tools for brands that are arguably bigger such as Vacheron Constantin, Audemars Piguet and Patek Philippe. JLC’s masterpiece and greatest contribution to the watchmaking world has been the Reverso. This particular dress piece is powered by JLC’s calibre 818, a manual-wind entry-level movement meant for their ultra-thin dress pieces. It houses a unique factory Onyx dial, which were more common in JLC’s other case shapes during that era. The 12 o’clock consists of a single diamond marker. Condition This JLC Ultra Thin is in very good vintage condition. There are very minor hairlines on the 18k yellow gold case. The dial is clean with no cracks or flaws and the movement is running in good order with +16s / d. The timepiece is triple-signed case, dial and movement.
