Shout out for Sand Hill watch bracelet repair—excellent work
I had an old 7205 rivet 14k yg bracelet that was badly stretched, with heavily eroded center links and many of the rivets were about to give out.
The guys at Sand Hill went above and beyond in their repair, even correcting some previous repair mistakes that they noticed without me having to ask (or even noticing them). Some of the rivets has been previously replaced with incorrect sized rivets. After replacing the failing rivets, they were able to get them all looking uniform. They fixed the stretch, repaired the center links where the gold had worn paper thin, and even machined a part so that a partial link I had could be added to the bracelet. All done at a very reasonable cost and very quick turnaround (couple of weeks door to door). I’ve used MY in the past, and while the work is good also, the turnaround time is long and shipping across the world is not ideal for me. We USA folks now have a great bracelet source here on our own shores. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looks great!
They fixed the stretch on my nearly 30 year old jubilee. Did a great job. I definitely recommend them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I’ve heard many good comments about their watchmakers. www.sandhillwatch.com In working with them did you ask if they have a Rolex Parts account? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I’d say this particular job was cheaper than MY. They examined the bracelet, and put together a list of suggested work with prices for my prior approval. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have a question. Since Rolex won’t repair bracelets like MY and Rolliworks, how do they obtain the parts to repair the bracelets? If Rolex doesn’t fix them, I wouldn’t think they would send out the parts needed, even if a parts account is established.

The first set of parts (pins) are made in house using 316L stock and a lathe. Later parts are farmed out to machine shop with a CNC lathe that takes 316L steel from a large reel. In the end you end up with numerous pins, sleeve, tubes, rods, 14k/18k gold rods, tubes on and on.

Each bench has 2 containers housing all the various pins and fasteners needed to bring these guys back.

I had them do another one for me and they didn’t disappoint. A tough one this time—expandable CI 20mm bracelet but all the springs had “sprung”.
They rebuilt it using solid rivets for strength, and used springs they’d built using a mold from the original ones. I’ll let the pics do the talking: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
