escrow
Ive been a member for over 15 years and have done a few transactions on the site. I keep seeing post about old accounts being hacked and used to scam members.
Are there any well established members who offer an Escrow service for sales listed on the classified section? asking for references for a seller who last sold a watch 5 years ago is not really helpful as a lot can change in 5 years. So.... I am looking for an member to act as an ESCROW service to help keep both sides safe. I hope such a thing exist. |

I'm also interested in what could be done to provide peace of mind and a safer environment for buyers who are serious about buying high end watches on here.

I would pay a fee of $250 plus cover the insured shipping labels

in one of the classified postings for a Daytona i read the seller was willing to do the deal via a TRF trusted seller. The wire would go to the Trusted seller and upon receipt he would ship promptly (and assure authenticity, plus confirm the condition described.)

I think escrow is the safest way to go. If your are a reputable dealer here and can do this for me, even if you dont want to publicly offer this service, slide into my DM's
