Car Love Thread

Got a tease from brixton forged who is making my wheels. Should have them by the end of next week, and I’ll post up when they get fully done. I love the burnt titanium hardware with the bayside blue and will match my burnt titanium Armytrix exhaust. Polished lip, double tint face, titanium hardware with a black inner

Dude, that makes me want to get another GT-R! Looks fantastic!

For some reason when I get a car I hang onto them for a while, but I really should start flipping every year. So many sweet cars out there I want to try.

I fully support this new methodology.

There really are so many and so little time.

3 reasons…..

After vacationing there for 20 yrs, (where we live now) we decided with our lifestyle, hobbies, etc…it’s much better for week or two getaways, weekend in the mountains, etc…vs year round living. There’s much more to do/interests of ours where we are moving.
Everything we like to do often, is right around the corner from our new location, whereas the things we only do on vacation is at our back door in our current location.

My parents cabin is still here, and will stay in the family, so we will always have a mountain home.

The main reason….
My wife has had 5 brain surgeries and has a VP shunt that she depends on and needs monitoring, as well as the need for neurological care to be very close. Where we are now there is zero neuro care or neurologists. Everything is an hour to hour and a half away. She’s been doing her usual appointments, etc..but it’s a bit of a drive, and my wife has grown increasingly nervous about this over time. We actually have a membership to the life-flight helicopter program just in case.
So we’re actually fulfilling our wants and needs with this move, + being able to get away to the mountains anytime.

Thank you gentlemen for the kind words! It’s life….you take what you get, try to make the right choices, and you deal with it the best you can. I’ve had a fortunate life and I’m grateful, so I take the bad with the good!

Buddha says life is suffering.

I don’t believe he was wrong.

And once this is acknowledged, it’s easier to embrace and appreciate the good moments.

My respect for you continues to grow.

Nice Richard somehow missed this before; so the house where you installed the car lifts is being replaced by this one on a different location which is more accessible for daily activities and Health care as well?

I'm sorry to hear about your wife, but I hope her treatments are successful! Sounds like the new place will be perfect for y'all. Congrats on the move and can't wait to see the finished project.

DMX must have been a Buddhist because he once said “to live is to suffer, to survive…well, that’s to find meaning and to suffer”

Absolutely first two albums were fire and released the same year 1999. Good times.

Great times. I saw him and Jay-Z in concert back then for the hard knock tour. They were also joined by method man and Redman. Incredible

I picked it up yesterday, was out of town last week through the weekend. Its LOUD! I had a 991.2 GT3 with headers/cats and an inconel system prior and when I got the 992, it was just way too quiet. This may be on the edge of too loud but what I have found thus far is that if you drive normal, its not that bad. When you open it up, wow! It absolutely screams. In my opinion, this is how a GT3 should sound from the factory. Can't wait to get it on the track now.

I might be able to do something but in the meantime, here is one of their videos that sold me on it. I have the "mini crack" variant.
