Here’s my contribution. I like the twist in JLC ‘s history: designed as a sport watch, the reverso has become synonymous with the very definition of a dress watch. Mine has both sun & moon complications. I kidded that the feature was imperative to track beasties such as vampires AND werewolves ( yep; nobody laughed then either). The reverse face also has a constellation connecting the screws. Kinda cool.

So Bas, too much going on for a proper dress watch or does it pass muster?

No longer with me - but hopefully will be some day - this DD with a Wideboy dial was my favorite.

Yes the Reverso has “sports roots”, but many consider the Reverso THE dress watch.

That is correct, Swarovski Optik. Not to be confused with Swarovski Crystal.

Not the dressiest, but this Octa Calendrier from the 38mm FPJ "Steel Set" is a hard watch to put down. Perfectly balanced and great with any outfit.
