What is the recommended service interval for a three hander? Three years? Five? Depends on how the watch is keeping time?

Why should I have regular maintenance performed on my watch?

Your Vacheron Constantin watch is a rare and precious timepiece. It thus contains mechanical components that require regular cleaning and lubrication, which should be performed every 3 to 5 years for manual or automatic mechanical watches, and 6 to 7 years for quartz models.

This is to prevent premature wear and ensure its long-term operation. It's thus important to provide it with the best care possible. Incidentally, our watchmakers apply less than a gram of lubricant to the entire movement.

Realistically? You should just get it fixed when it stops working or not performing to your expectations.

Agree by the way, I mostly service my watches every >10 years. I just gave the official VC statement above.

I've worn this exclusively on a rubber since I got it. But decided to throw on the bracelet today.

Just picked up my first VC from Nashville Watch. Really stands out from previous watches I’ve had and love the finishing. Does anyone know if it’s possible to order extra links if needed from VC?
