Does this 1655 look real to you?

My friend found this 1655 in a small store Let’s say it’s the last place you expect to find that kind of Rolex. He sent me those pictures. The shop’s owner was not there but he will meet him possibly this week to open the caseback and see the movement. Obviously it is not in great shape but could be a nice project if not fake. Based on these pics does this look like the real deal?

Appreciate your comments.

The dial is off too and does not look good at all. Good that your friend did not buy it yet :).

That looks roasted man. Look at the dial used Permanent Marker on it. Crappy pics by the way. Stay away.

That would be a hard pass, but for kicks, your friend should see what's behind the caseback...I'm curious to see what they put back there.
