Whose "never sell" watch is non-Rolex?

I really like my Rolexes and Tudors, and I don't think I will ever sell them. But if times got bad and I had to liquidate, the very last watch I will ever sell is an Oris. It's the Artelier 112, 10 day power reserve, and it was a gift from my wife (the only watch she has ever bought me). It cost as much as a new SubC when she got it for me a few years ago!

Anyone else in a similar situation?

Mine is a Tag Heuer I bought 25 years ago when I passed the Tennessee bar exam.

Already sold my LVc and I've often debated selling my BLNR. I don't think a Rolex would ever fall into the permanent keeper category for me.

To answer the question, my never sell watch is my Milspec. I bought it to commemorate my son's birth. I also genuinely love almost everything about it (still wish it didn't have a date).

My never sell watch is an IWC Mark XV which was my first halfway decent watch when I got it new almost 20 years ago. It remains my go to tool watch that I put through everything I end up doing. It is my low-end watch at this point but all things considered the one that I continue to like the most.

Every watch is expendable. I equate it to being a General Manager of a baseball team and putting together a starting pitcher rotation. Today's "ace" could be tomorrow's trade bait.

My first nice watch. I’ll give to the kids eventually

And I doubt I’ll ever sell this collectible. Only 50 made. Ceramised titanium model

My only untouchable is this AquaTerra 2500. My wife gave it to me as a wedding gift 14 years ago.

I rarely sell any of my watches. That being said if I had to I suppose all of them could go.

I have many more valuable watches, but I would have a very hard time letting this late 1960s Zenith automatic go. The dial color, the understatement, the date window at 4:30 all do it for me.

Mine isn’t particularly awe inspiring, but I think the only watch I currently own that I will 100% never sell is my Sinn 856 UTC. Everything else I’ve at least had passing thoughts about selling.

Bought it years back in advance of an interview for a job I thought for sure I would get, and then didn’t, and then got a better job with the same company about two months later. It’s been on numerous trips with me both domestic and abroad, and has some dents and dings to prove it.

Runs great, super comfy and tough as it needs to be. Love it.
