Khalid for sure. Seems like he has almost everything and I’m willing to bet there are dozens with larger collections than him, maybe hundreds. I gather the big collectors are who keeps the lights on at Patek.

I know they exist, the Super collectors. I even know a few. Most actually prefer to keep a low profile and don't join chat groups, forums or social media.

I know malaysian’s Tan Sri Teh Hong Piow owns an extensive collection of PPs.. He don’t wear them but buying to keep. All his watches each and every one is recorded on a fact sheet catalogued in folderssss with photos of his watch attached.

The first Grandmaster Chime 5175 produced for the 175 anniversary went to late Chamnong Bhirombhakdi and the second went to the Patek museum. That would explain his standing with Patek.

Ha! I was completely kidding, based on your screen name and penchant for buying watches.

Guys there are some massive collectors out there a lot of whom are not on social media.

Claude Sfeir, Michael Safdie (albeit he also trades) I think one of the ex CEO’s of Disney also has an amazing collection

One of the best collections bar none belongs to a senior member of one of the Royal families in the Middle East - literally hundreds of the best PP’s ever made.

I know one of these 2 and they have nice watches but this is absolutely NOTHING compared with big collectors

I don't know much about Patek history and vintage models, however there is one collector I follow on Instagram who goes by @horology_ancienne.

Despite vintage pieces not being my thing, what attracted me to the posts of his collection are the history he provides with each post (including the quality of the writing itself) and the uniqueness of the pieces being posted. Again, I don't know much in this area, but the followers of his page seem to be impressed.

I've included some pics of pieces that I personally found interesting from his posts.

This was my nomination also. Some crazy items from his collection is shared on Purists from time to time, 99% Patek, and then some Journe.
