What’s actually comical is that you call someone else soft. You take pot shots all the time. You get called out and it just eats at you. You just can’t let it go. Talk about soft. It’s an Internet forum. And your only getting what you dish out. Yet it appears you can’t even see that. This’ll likely get closed. Likely it should. And too bad too. All because you got called out and got a taste of what you call “speaking your mind”.

2 of DSW's recent listings this month on his website (not listed on the forums) were around 41K/42K for BNIB. Both are gone now.

Was catching up on this thread after watching season 2, episode 2... and kept seeing “SAVAGE”, so seemed appropriate! It’s ashame the show wasn’t renewed for season 3. Being from the same college era as the main characters, have really been enjoying it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Punky was smoking when she was on Saved by the Bell for that one episode. She was loaded up top too. +1 for punky. But nobody beats Kelly Kapowski. I’ll fight anyone who tells me otherwise. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I would personally be hesitant to snitch on someone and potentially cost them 6 figures in damages or more and then talk about it on the internet.
You never know what people are capable of. That said, I understand that people do it. That’s life. I also believe the selling an item is just that. Does not matter if you’re DavidSW or joe blow. PS: if these hypebeasts catch a whiff of taste the 5164 will keep climbing :)

Also this thread aside V25V is a good guy and went well out of his way to help me get a strap that my AD couldn’t get me.
Context is often lost on the forums and I would imagine this conversation with us all at a pub would be much different

Patek and AD’s don’t want to sell to flippers? They have a policy against it? BS.
Show me in writing, I’m from Missouri. Hey ichi, when you call Patek I wonder if the laugh their ass off after your call? |

I glossed over all the trolling.
It's pretty amazing that there has been a rally in the past 90 days. 5711R - Was trading at 60 and now in low to mid 70s 5711A - I see them listed around 55k and climbing 5164A - Used to be low 30s now high 30s 5712A - Used to trade in mid to high 40s, now mid 50s and Davidsw even listed at mid 60s 5990 and 5980 prices are now pretty absurd (mid 80s) As a Patek owner. I do like the value retention. However, when a 5980 or 5990 is trading more than a grand complication and near the price of a PCC; something seems off. I was a buyer with 5711 in 40s and 5990 and 5980s in the 60s but anything more seems a bit excessive no? |
