help me with ID and rough value of this watch pls..
So my uncle passed and left me this watch, clearly the bracelet is after market but the watch looks real... any ideas? Model, age, aproximate value?
also appears to have been poorly refinished or polished at some point thanks |

Rolex Oysterdate hand-winding. To know reference and year of production, you have to get off the bracelet and between the lugs at 6 o'clock you'll find the serial number (used to get the year of production), at 12 o'clock the reference code.

From the single photo, probably a mid to late 1960s model 6694. Why do you think the bracelet is aftermarket? If there is no water damage and the movement only needs a cleaning, then I would put value at approx. $1200-1500 if the bracelet is in fact aftermarket. If the bracelet is real then you can add another $350 or so since it looks like it needs to be rebuilt.
