There isn't anything that is newer or better than this.

Some newbies may think it is their entitlement to upload 10mb photos for the forum to host. This isn't a function of new software.

Large photos are simply impractical for browser viewing.

There is no better forum software than VBulletin according to the experts. The pure simply uncluttered functionality of this software cannot be beaten at this time.

Does anyone else have issues with Tapatalk? I love the experience of Tapatalk, but it glitches on me all the time. It refuses to load threads often.

I'm old school at 70 but I like to evaluate and crop my pix for TRF as I have to do for other forums.

I use ACDC to size and tweak my pix (if necessary) not only for the forum but for my own hard drive space efficiency.

I can also photoshop if I want but my pix are usually good enough.

Combine this with a couple of resizing aps on my mini iPad and I have most things covered.

If I can do it my 20 month old grand daughter could do it.

Step up or step out.

I like the TRF just like it is. I don't see fixing something that is not broken.

Have to agree but today many want everything done for them, some too lazy even to learn how very simple picture resize is.

agreed,

but the old vBulletin team made a new forum software. xenforo. It's actually really nice with the vBulletin feel and can be imported.

the original vBulletin got sold and the v4+ totally suck. xenforo is pretty cool.

Its 2018 Rolex Forum........
you want a more advanced interface but don't know how to resize a photo which is a pretty basic thing to know how to do?

Its about the easiest message board to browse and read out there

I love the “feel”of TRF, and the photo size business doesn’t bother me (I simply switch to Tapatalk to post a photo).

It would be nice to receive notifications when someone quotes you.
