Noob winding question.

I have had my sd43 for a couple weeks now and never had to wind it.
I just try to wind it and can’t tell if im winding it. I don’t feel any racheting or noise but do feel a little resistance. I only wound it about 15-20 turns.
Is that normal?

Thanks in advance.

Sounds all good.
Just wear it as you normally would and forget about it.

Noob winding question.

When I wind my SD43 I can definitely hear it turning, it’s a distinct sound to me. Other than that as long as the watch is kicking on once you wind it then everything is likely fine.

The watch is working great and only lose about 3 seconds a week. I just never had a watch that i can wind and thought I’m suppose to feel a racheting action when winding manually.

When winding your Rolex just wind clockwise only, to fully wind it needs around 40 full crown turns and you cannot overwind it.

The movement in the SD43 is very smooth when winding with the crown. You’ll know when it’s fully wound as you’ll feel it
