New Jubilee Bracelets - Solid?
Quick question:
What are memebers thoughts on the new Jubilee bracelets found on the DateJust41 and new GMT SS Pepsi? Solid and long lasting? What about wear and stretch over time? Curious to know thoughts? |

Yes, solid construction. Wear, commonly known as stretch, can happen to any bracelet. But if worn a bit on the tighter side and maintaining a regular cleaning regimen, the bracelet should last a lifetime. It's the grit and grime that sand away material causing wear.

The jubilee bracelet of the DJ41 is too new to say something about durability but I think they will hold up for quite some time.

Can't comment on the 'newest' Super-Jubilee (solid link) however I'm sure It's design and construction is identical to the existing 36mm already in service. Unless tortured or abused, bracelet stretch is probably a non-issue. I've owned two and that said, they're unbelievably solid and robust and as pointed out, should indeed last lifetime.

Stronger, more solid construction and more resistant to any stretch. Looking forward to my first when the 126710 arrives.

Haven't had my hands on one yet, but knowing Rolex I'm sure it's quite solid. Especially with the above mentioned cleaning routine to get dirt and grim out of the links.

Get an Ultrasonic Jewelery Cleaner and just clean it daily for 180 seconds. I do it with my Sub. Super easy.
Here is the one I have that works great https://www.amazon.com/Famili-FM8000...9599221&sr=1-2 |

Stretch generally happens from the pin holes routing out a bit over time. The thickness of the rest of the link likely doesn't play much of a role, since it's the inside of the holes that is the problem.
Just keep the bracelet clean, and wear it somewhat snug and above the wristbone and you'll be fine. |

DJ41, worn daily since October 2016 albeit 18ct and Stainless.
No additional stretch to be found, built like a tank finally a solid jubilee. Personally I found the super jubilee on the 36's too feel slightly fragile. Not the bracelet but more so the superb looking hidden clasp. I was constantly worried about the crown on the clasp popping off, as you go to remove it always felt too dainty in my eyes, no longer and issue and with the convince of an easy link the DJ41 jubilee is a winner in my book. Your stainless steel should be even stronger. |
