Enjoy the shared experience. My 14 year old son still enjoys the lume at night.

Chromalight Fades quickly

Hi All - I have the 126600 and have noticed that the chromalight glows VERY brightly for around 3-5 minutes and then fades quickly to a lighter glow. That light glow then lasts up to 6 hours. Anyone else notice this. I keep wondering if my watch has an issue with the chromalight....

Being a flashlight guy, yes but certainly not with a phone “ light. “ Couple second blast with a 1,000 lumen handlight works better then hours in the sun.

I can' t believe it. This is the one area the watch doesn't dazzle. 2020 Rootbeer Rolesor. Of my watches, vintage seamaster, SKX 011, Pantor Sealion, Black Bay... the Rolex lume is weakest. Its downright terrible. I never catch it glowing in a dark bathroom or in sudden light changes like my other watches. Like never. Yes, it glows a bit if your squinting for it if it's very very dark, but it never catches my eye like every other watch I've ever owned. Bummer on that but I still love it.

The lume is Blue!

My 20yr old Seamaster fires up in no time and burns brighter than my GMT M2 or Exp1. In fairness the Chromolite stays longer..but not like an hour longer. Too bad. The blue looks sick on the Explorer 3,6,9. Can't wait to walk into a dark bar this summer after a horrendous round of golf
