My New 116509 WG Daytona
Traded my AP ROO Panda for it. I rarely used the panda because it was just overpowering my wrists. It just sat in the safe for almost a year. I finally came to a conclusion that I can't wear big watches. I don't know why I even messed with ROOs. The WG heft makes it feel heavier than and SD. The dial is stunning. Can't be happier with the decision.

The size is just perfect and fits you very well.
Next step could be the slate / arab dial which I think is awesome. Congratulations! |

The 116509 is a fine watch...Congrats
If the AP ROO line isn't your thing then that's that.... Certainly not how I feel. My ROOs are at the top of my collection. But we all have different tastes. I hope the 116509 gives you years of pleasure. Congrats

Nice trade. That is a fine watch, and must agree on the dial. No big ones for me either. 6.75" here.

Thanks TRF!
I am really enjoying the Daytona more than I did the Panda. I came to realize, I cant pull off big watches. Wore the Daytona ALL day yesterday and its back on my wrist today. Cant say that I would have done that with the Panda.

Congrats, a WG Daytona is a beautifully understated timepiece, enjoy!!!
I can't go big either, a Daytona / Sub is as big as I can go. A DJ2 or DD2 is also a fraction too big for my 6.75" wrists. |

Very nice choice,
I can relate with a barley 7" wrist myself no biggies for me. The Daytona is the perfect size, and very comfortable imo. |
