Congratulations! The Explorer II is one of my all-time (no pun intended) favorites! I especially like the new 42 mm size; it looks good on your wrist.

Thanks! Yeah, I'm a big fan of the 42mm size, and the watch is super comfortable to wear.

Congratulations and I love the pics! I got my EXP II Polar earlier this week and it's not been off my wrist. I have had a 16610 LV since March which is a superb watch, but the Polar really sang to me when I popped into the AD on a whim (note to self - avoid doing that on a regular basis....dangerous!). The dimensions of the case, easily readable dial and a watch which is just that little bit different...you can't go wrong!

It's a fantastic watch and By Royal Appointment too as Prince Harry wears one. You're in good company my friend and have great taste!

Duncs

Congrats on a fantastic example from the Rolex portfolio. I have been a big fan of the Explorer II in its 16570/40mm guise. But on a recent trip to an AD while on vacation in Oregon (where there is no sales tax), I tried on the 42mm version. Oh my goodness...what a perfect fit!
And much to be said for NEW-freshly built, under warranty for 5 years, not a scratch, bracelet much nicer, easier to read, etc. etc... Excellent choice! Unfortunately for me, my wife was nearby, armed and ready with a dirty look, choice words, and...well I'll stop there.

IMO the most under-rated of the sports range and therefore great value for money.

Congrats on a fine purchase!

Thank you. Yeah, it really is a great looking watch. I continually find myself looking at the time just so I can admire how beautifully it sits on my wrist. It's also extremely comfortable to wear -- coming from a Breitling Superocean (which just sits in my safe now) -- and I've found it flies under the radar a bit. Enjoy yours!

Ha ha. That's too bad. Well, hopefully one day soon you'll be able to pick one up. I couldn't be happier with mine so far. It oozes quality and the polar dial is just super crisp and clean. She's definitely a keeper.

Thanks and congrats to you on also being the owner of such a fine timepiece. I'm sure one day I'll pick up a Sub, but I'm thinking the new Pelagos in blue will be my next purchase, unless I win the lottery.

Love the white dial, and the blue lume really pops when it gets a little dark.
