Looking for some advice
My mom gave this watch to my dad in 1961. About a year later it was accidentally dropped in a well and it 2 weeks before he could get down there an find it. Badly water damaged as you can see. Anyway my dad passed away recently and I'd like to restore it, if possible. (Band is obviously not original) Unsure what model it is though. Any thoughts on the model?

It's a Tudor from the 50's.
A model reference number will be engraved between the bracelet lugs.

You could be right and it does look like there has been a bit of wear. but he never wore it that I can remember. ( I'm 42) I was born about 12 years after he got it. Asked my mum and she said that apparently he'd wear it when she was away. Ps we were on a remote farm in Australia and he didn't sent it away to get fixed. Think he wore it more as a reminder of her. When we moved it was put away. Thanks for this :) - learned something about him I never knew.

Quick update. The cost of repair will probably be more than the watch is worth. I know that it is Tudor, but for sentimental value its something that I'll do. Will post when I get it back
