I would disagree with this.

People buy WG because although expensive, it is discreet. If you want to be flash and attract attention you buy YG, if you want a top end watch to privately enjoy and want no one else to know, you buy WG.

SS hardly ever attracts attention, hence why it holds its value. WG is the same.

If I had the spare cash, I would still buy a WG watch over a SS, even though they look similar.
