Magnification my 1680

Is it me but the magnification on my cyclops on a 1680 seems a bit better and stronger than my 16610LV or is it me ?

It’s the effect of the cyclops sitting further away from the date wheel on the top hat crystal. Like holding a magnifying glass further away from your subject.
