You’ll have to be the ultimate judge and I have a 6.5” wrist so I can empathize with your concerns. That being said, based on the first picture (others not loading for me) it appears to be fine. The lugs don’t appear to go beyond your wrist (I wear a 40mm PAM) and Panerai is meant to be a little on the larger side

I agree with the above statement. I too have a six and a half inch wrist and I manage to carry a 44mm PAM. So long as the lugs don’t overhang your wrists, it’s fine. And yes...PAMs are meant to be big and bold...

As mentioned, Pam’s are meant to look big. Do you have other watches that are 36-40mm?

yup, most of my watches are in or near that range. the full slate stands at a BLNR, speedmaster CK2998, tudor black bay 36, nomos ludwig neomatik, grand seiko SBGM221, seiko SPB069 and seiko SPB053.

lots of mind changing about what the next one should be and have never been into panerai much but tried this guy on today and loved it...

Straight-on pic from close range and no overhang? You're good to go.

The 682 is a really great recent reference.

I think the fit is quite good on your wrist. As mentioned by others, no overt overhang of the lugs in your pics.

Based upon your current collection, the 682 will fit and feel a little bigger in comparison. However, once it's worn for a bit, I think you'll find it will feel quite natural.

I agree with the others.....looks perfect size to me in your photos. Lugs do not overhang and PAM is made to wear a little larger and have more wrist presence than most brands.
I have a similar size wrist and wear a 42mm 512.....fits and wears great!
Cheers

my wrist is just over 6.75 and i felt perfectly comfortable with a 47MM 422 and 305. That looks like it fits you just fine...

I have yet to try on a 42mm sub, but i'm liking what i've seen. Seems like if the rest of your collection is 36-40, this is a perfect compliment. a 42 or 44 mm Pam... Do it!

Does not look too big to me. It would be better to see the watch from 3-5 ft to get a better idea.

I’m currently contemplating a 44mm Panerai on my 6.75in wrist... 42 looks good on your wrist.

thanks--also, super eerie that I think I recognize that mirror and floor, but that picture was taken at the bryant park tourneau wasn't it

That looks great. Look at it in mirror from a little bit of a distance. That gives you a better idea. I personally consider the size of the forearm as well...
