I have the black dial 15400, and I find it really hard to let go for it. It's just a cut above Rolex.

If it’s not blue pass. The Royal Oak must have a blue dial like the Nautilus. It’s also the only one which you will not lose money on but this is just a plus. The tapisserie dial shines in blue. I think black is superior to white on this watch as well.

Thanks for the help guys. I am 90% of the way there. Most likely get the 15400 silver. Both my wife and I like how the light cuts on the dial. Definitely would have like to have seen the blue 15400 or the 15202. But those are out a 2 years or more.
The other thing that is pushing me over the edge is, it sounds like I maybe able to get one in the low $16’s. :). I been busy dialing away. I’ve never bought from a smaller AD before. Do I need to worry that I am getting the watch shipped will be. The exact watch? Or is that me being just overly worried. This will be a AD. Not a grey. Thanks again guys |

Personally I would go with the 15400 silver dial. Hoping to own one some day.

I own Rolexes and AP's and I can tell you the 15400 is a very special watch. The finishing on the case and bracelet is superior to Rolex, and the way the bracelet shines when hit by the light is beautiful! So my advice for you is to buy the 15400 and if you cease to enjoy it trade it or sell it to get something else, I would also recommend to buy from a TS, so you dont lose too much if you ever decide to part with it.
Here's mine:

So my wife threw out a wild card....an hour ago
She goes... do you want to get a Dj 36mm all gold + diamonds dial. And we can share it. What would u guys do? I have a 6.75 wrist so fits me fine. She has a really small wrist so it makes her look like a baller even more so than her diamond bezel+ dial dj31 she currently sports. I feel like im getting short end of stick since she got a birkin... :( |

If you're second guessing your judgement then defer any choice.
Wait, and search your gut feelings until you obtain clarity. Alternately, if in doubt get them all and determine what you truly want based upon wrist time. It is the litmus test after all. |

Get the silver 400. My favorite watch. Anything under 17 out the door is a great price in this market for BNIB. I think I paid 16700 for mine. well worth and a watch I will likely never sell.

If it's not about the money, then get the AP now. Who knows when the Daytona or the SS Pepsi will become available. Just buy those other two later in the future if/when you are able to get your hands on them.

Yeah I feel good with the price level around $16k Gotta wait till the following week tho since I’m still west coast. I will give the local AP AD here in the west coast the opportunity to match the price here before I leave tho. And it’s goig to be silver :) |
