I have never asked for one nor received one. Wire transfer records are sufficient for me.

Not true in the US. Your AD is full of BS. In the US, the warranty follows the watch and not the original buyer. So whether you're the first or the tenth owner, as long as its under 5 years, Rolex will honor the warranty.
