President 18k bracelet refurb

Need info on refurb off 18k president bracelet, the strap is 1984date and is in good condition but worn in the joints hence a bit sloppy. Would like it kept as original as possible.

Michael Young in Hong Kong is basically the guy for this. Classicwatchrepair.com. I've seen a new competitor recently but they don't do 18k

Power funk thanks for your reply, will the restored bracelet still be classed as a Rolex bracelet after refurb if you decide to sell at later date.

Michael Young will strip the bracelet and the only parts that ‘may’ be replaced would be hidden inside the links but as far as I’ve seen he won’t replace anything unless he has to usually making collars and sleeves to tighten things up. The bracelet will be original still just the hidden pins and structure tightened up so no worries.

Michael Young makes them new again, they're still genuine Rolex, but restored. You wouldn't sell the bracelet without mentioning this.

I would pay almost as much for a MY-restored-to-new bracelet as I would for a NOS bracelet. >90%, anyway - they're just bracelets, authenticity and condition count more for me than "all original untouched" when it comes to bracelets.

There are several threads on the tool needed. Bergeron I believe is the brand.
