Tudor Submariner 75190 Help

Hey guys,

I am new to this forum. I am looking to purchase my first Tudor but had a couple of doubts on a potential purchase, so will be great if you could help out:)

I was interested in a listing of a Tudor Submariner 75190 Midsize 36mm, claimed to be from 1999, with BLUE DIAL AND APPLIED MARKERS.

However, from what I have seen and read, the Bezel is supposed to be a Stainless Steel insert, but the listing has a BLUE BEZEL (Like the earlier 79090) as well.

Do you think this watch is legit? Or something replaced here?

I am also confused by what I read on one of the forums, that when the Ref 75190 was introduced (in 1995?), there were many overlap watches with various combinations of dial and bezels, and all were available at the stores? Is this claim correct would you know?

Greatly appreciate any help.

Grazie Mille

Hi welcome.

I think your watch is correct with that bezel. I have similar one but in Matt dial. Same size 36mm like yours.

The 36mm is just perfect if your wrist not too big. Very comfortable to wear. I like the blue sub very much.

Hi mineral, Thanks a lot for your response!

So just to be explicit, your watch is the exact ref 75190?

looks nice....definitely a later model. Never heard of anybody messing with the 36mm version, so should be ok. What is the asking price, if you don't mind me asking?

Hi mine is 75090. The sapphire was installed by RSC.

Same size as yours.

Earlier 75190s came with the aluminum insert like the one you pictured. I believe some of the later ones came with the stainless insert like this...

Might be a little late on this but I own a 75190 purchased in 1999 with blue dial and bezel.
The one you had pictured looks the same
Mine has white gold surrounds and all tudor markings (crown and coseback). Came with the jubilee style bracelet as well.
I also purchased the folded link oyster for it. Never liked it on the jubilee.
I love this watch!
Gets more wrist time than my BLNR.
I keep it on a nato or leather most of the time

Nice blue Tudor sub you have there.

I love the 36mm size also. Very comfortable to wear.
