Looks good always thought blue rubber looked better than black for this model. I think white would look ok for summer as well.

what a waste of time putting rubber on a modern rolex, it looks ridiculous
everyone who's responded is just responding to be cool, lets face it, it looks like crap

The camera work was fun! Regarding a blue strap vs. whatever...you rock whatever sings to you!

Have you worn a watch on a rubber strap? They’re extremely comfortable. I think it’s fun to occasionally put a rubber strap on especially one that compliments a minor color on the dial or bezel. By no means is the op discarding his bracelet. I think you’re being a bit harsh here.

Sorry, but if someone posts in a public forum he and everyone else should be open to all opinions. If you want only people who post "cool" comments, then maybe that should be stated in all thread titles. "Please only enter this thread to agree with me and say only nice comments of approval". |

I live this video. And a huge fan of rubber on a Rolex. It’s my preferred way.

Thanks!
Thank you Quote:
I don't think I could pull off white. Maybe with my white dial daytona. I do have a black everest band as well, which looks great IMO. I was surprised how much I liked the blue though. Quote:

It's not my favorite look for the watch, perhaps it's not even my favorite color, but it certainly makes it fun to mix it up. Quote:

Thank you guys! Much appreciated. So I shot a sunset time lapse for work the other night. I basically played that time-lapse back on my computer screen over a 3.5 minute span, while also placing the watch on a piece of wood in front of the screen. Lit the watch (rather poorly actually) and used a motorized slider with a rotating camera mount, so to keep the watch centered (or close to it) in the screen. I programmed the slider to go about 18 inches over the same span of 3.5 minutes. The rest was all video editing. I'm gonna try it again, but this time by taking about 1000 photographs. This time I used live video which demand a lot more light and couldn't be anywhere near as sharp. Next time I'll shoot it with a very small aperture so the entire watch is super sharp. |

I was not even paying attention of the actual OP username :)
I know you said maybe white strap on the Daytona, and might be ok but no way it’s looking better than Oysterflex with the end links hehe Hopefully my endlinks will be here soon from George. Sub ones won’t fit but he gladly fixed the issue. Sending me Daytona ones as I know they fit but they are brushed. |
