Which timezone do you usually set your GMT hand to?

Do you usually set it to your local timezone? And if not, to which timezone?

Home time is eastern. I set the GMT hand to GMT, mainly because my girlfriend is living in England currently.

I set it to UTC and use references based on UTC to set the local time. Works pretty good for the job.

I've only ever set them to home time.

When crossing timezones, I simply set the Hour hand as required.

It's not a GMT hand, it's a 24 hr hand - GMT is the name of the watch.

I don't fly any more except as a passenger; I set the 24 hr hand to local time because I travel a lot and it gives me a ready reference to the times I need and use the most. That is exactly how it is supposed to be used, so if UTC time is useful, use it, if something else like local time is most useful, use that.

I set my 24-hour hand to local time and set the bezel to UTC.

I really love the watch and it's complication, but since I've had it, I've only traveled north and south.

GMT is the name of the complication, the name of the watch is the GMT Master (II).

I set it to Baghdad time. Reminds me of my time there and my brother in law is currently stationed there.

Home time. Travel somewhat frequently, so I move the hour hand as needed. For almost all travel I do its simple enough to do the calculations in my head, its more useful for the 2-3 trips I make to the US each year

For some reason I really struggle with greater than 12 hour timezone differences, takes me a few days after I get there before I can do it instantly

I did try setting it to GMT time once when I was away, tbh I didnt really like having the bezel rotated all the time so I changed it back

Set the GMT hand to GMT, then rotate the bezel to most used 2nd Time zone or home Time zone. Can always rotate back to GMT, but remembering GMT-5 Or 4 or whatever with daylight savings time is kind of a pain.

My 24 hr hand is set to my home time (PST). When I'm home and the hour hand is also set to PST, I kick the bezel three notches over so the 24hr hand indicates EST since we have a lot of family on the East coast. When I travel, the bezel goes back to 'center' and the hour hand is moved to wherever local time happens to be.

You set it to your "home" time - whatever that is... UTC, Home, where your family is etc.. it's a point of reference, I'm waiting for someone to say they set the 24 hour hand for where they are and set the hour hand at UTC...

I just set the hour and minute hand to local time unless I’m traveling.

No, the complication is Dual-Time as it can be any set of times, and many manufactures make one.

Of course, the original GMT Master could only show 2 formats, 12 and 24hr time, so the innovation was the bezel - not much of a complication.
