Definitely the ice blue diagonal DD40 in platinum. The dial looks incredible and there's nothing out there like it.

Can't stop looking at platinum day-date photos. In love with the "ice-cube" dial.

What's the value differential between the two Platinum jobs?

Love that ice blue face, wouldn't have a use for the Daytona
stopwatch function, but if it were a gift, I'd have to take
the most valuable.

Retail for platinum day date is $62,500
and daytona is $75,000

DD40 Platinum Blue. I'm thinking it's one of the most beautiful pieces I've ever seen.

Platona. Preferably, the one with the all Ice-blue dial and Diamond hour markers. It's rarer than the regular one with Brown sub-dials.

I love the ice blue DD most of all, but that RG w/olive face is my close second.

I picked my smurf due to “one watch” but if I buy another it’s the DD in Plat. If I buy a third it’s that RG olive.

Dang, that would be a nice three watch collection!

I agree. These rarely come up for sale and not very many people have them.

Honestly, ask me this same question a week ago and I would have said Platinum Daytona. After seeing a DD40 in Platinum in person just recently, I can’t help but love the dial, dimensions and sheer mass of the watch. Definitely a future grail for me.

It would be a tough choice between the Platinum Daytona and the Platinum DD. Since I already have the DD of my dreams, though, I would go Platona.

None of the above. I would choose the DD 36 in YG with green dial and arabic numbers on a concealed clasp oyster bracelet and domed smooth bezel.

Or a DD 36 in Platinum with a white MOP carousel diamond dial, President bracelet and diamond bezel.

Daytona platinum aka the Platona. Hands down, no doubt.

I would probably take the yellow gold DD.
The rarest is probably the diamond dial Platona posted above. I like that one as well as the platinum DD.
Tough choices, but good problems to have.

Platinum DD for, with the Platinum Daytona as a very close second.

This one, by a mile. Preferably diamond index.

Might be rarer but I see them more often, almost weekly actually
