Whiskey

Hello everyone. I have a friend, he loves whiskey. I’m going to buy a bottle of whiskey for him as a gift. I don’t know much about whiskey. 🤔🤔🤔 What’s your favorite and why? I want to spend about $50-$60.
Thank you!

EH Taylor small batch. It’s one of my favorites and you can find for under $50.

^^^^ This. Great batch at a price point WAY better than much more expensive whiskeys. Can't go wrong with that choice.

Single barrel Jack Daniels, Woodford, Woodford double Oaked, bulleit, and four roses single barrel all all good standards. If he likes rye, Woodford and Michters were the best I tasted on the bourbon trail. If he prefers a little more fruity sweetness like plums or cherries, Angels Envy is a good one.
